Most of us have seen people who came from wonderful circumstances, born with silver spoons in their mouths, who somehow end up really crashing once they are out in life.

On the other hand, there seems to be about 10% of people that no matter what has happened or is happening in their lives, they come out shining. Somehow they rise above it all, and they make something good happen out of their lives.

Then there is a small, very small percentage, of very rare individuals who have come from the harshest circumstances in life and yet end up becoming whole people. They become not only creative and successful in the worldly sense; but also spiritually mature.

Rob is a Senior Vice President of Investments for a major national brokerage firm. He has three full time assistants and a broker teammate. Rob and his team oversee more than $200 million in individual and corporate assets.

In May of 2002, Rob was recognized by the leading magazine of his industry as being one of America's top ten Financial Consultants.

Married since 1980, he and his wife, Susan, have raised 2 neat kids. In this 2002 picture, Alicia was 18 and Luke was 15.  They call Dad one of their best friends.

Rob has been active in Christian Business Men's Committee since 1985 and serves as Metro Leader for a four-county area. He is also active in church and in his children's lives. He says his favorite sports are his kids, weight lifting, basketball, white water rafting, and hunting.

With a heart for the forgotten and unloved children of the world, Rob Mitchell is what Paul Harvey would definitely call "the rest of the story."
